Trickertreat AP release

Yesterday +Gary Ham gave us the information about his Trickertreat AP release.

This release it's gonna be great, and this release shows how really interesting things happen when the artist interacts with the community.

All started at the beginning of this month when Gary gave us a sneak peek of the print is gonna come with the AP.
At first he announced he was going to sell the Trickertreat AP and print bundle for $35 plus shipping.

Just before the HAMgouts on Air! Gary showed on Instagram this photo of the AP, where we can see on the front: the Trickertreat Android, the print, a postcard and on the back: a framed print where Gary doodled the matte.
That immediately had us talking about how awesome is the matte, and got a lot of us interested on getting the AP, with the frame and doodled matte included.

And finally during the HAMgouts on Air! Some suggested that the AP set needed a wood pumpkin, and some of the people that watched the hangout supported the idea, and the end result is this:

A bundle that includes:

  • (1) signed and numbered Trickertreat figure
  • (1) 5" x 5" signed and numbered print that will come framed with a hand doodled matte (Frame dimensions are 9.75" x 9.75")
  • (1) Wood Android pumpkin with orange stain and painted details
  • (1) sticker pack
  • (1) postcard image of the print

Which is awesome, but it also brought an increase in the price, now the bundle will be $120 plus shipping, that for me, is worth it.

The final date for the release of the AP set is on January 31th, 2014 at 8:00 am PST and there will 31 AP sets available at a first come first serve basis on Gary's "Superham" store, where he already put the product page for the AP.

Also, because the doodled mattes and wood pumpkins weren't part of the original plan, they are gonna bring a slight delay on the delivery date, but Gary already stated that all orders will be mailed no later than February 28th, and because each of those are handmade there will be slightly different or varied designs.

What are your thoughts about how the AP bundle evolved?
